A feat by an OC (Riko)

Situation: Riko seeks to build an empire by trading objects, taking them apart, and gradually assembling more complex things to sell within the orphanage. The children are slowly realizing what she is trying to accomplish, and they have infiltrators among her employees.

Riko built a machine that automatically receives objects and issues payments. Riko knows there are infiltrators among her employees, but she uses this to feed them false information and maintain a facade.

Riko established a rule that whoever detects sabotage and can also prove that they were not the one who committed it will receive double pay.

When she returned, she found the machine broken.

Reasoning:

H: Fact

D: Doubt

N: Negative

C: Conclusion

P: Possibilities

H1: The machine is destroyed

H2: My employees and the children trying to stop me are here

H3: There are infiltrators among my employees

D1: What exactly is damaged?

C1: The components

N1: There is something strange about them

H4: Two components are out of order

C2: They were moved before the machine was broken

C3: The person was trying to hide something

D2: Why would one of my employees do this?

P1: They were trying to hide the fact that they did it

N2: Nobody would try to hide something with two components and then destroy an entire machine

P2: They accidentally did it while trying to open it

N3: The components don't match; they aren't the ones used for that

P3: It was done to examine me

C4: That's what fits the evidence best

H5: One of my employees wouldn't do this

C5: It was one of the infiltrators

H6: There are 8 children

H7: 5 are normal

H8: 3 are infiltrators

D3: Which one of them did it?

C6: The marks, position, direction, and force of the damage, what was missing, and the location of the sabotage, combined with who had access, point toward someone

C7: The tallest one. Based on the angle and timing, the second child

C8: I know they're an infiltrator, but I shouldn't reveal it and give them clues. I should just kick them out.

All of this in about two minutes.

P.S. This was all just an excuse to post the drawing, and no, she doesn't look like this (at least at this point in the story, she's currently 10 years old).

Akiyama finds himself in your favourite fixed situation, stepping in for the protagonist. Will Akiyama manage to outdo him, or will he be humiliated?
