My car requires 4.5 quarts for each oil change. I put the extra half quart into another jug each time I change my oil. Over time, it’s finally filled up the extra 5 quart jug.

Am I good to use it for my next oil change? I had it in my trunk for about half the time, so it was subjected to temperature fluctuations here in Colorado.. which is one of my concerns. I’m not sure how much that affects the oil quality over time.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just didn’t want to risk it and figured you fine gentlemen would know best!

To add - it’s all the exact same oil each time. Mobil 1 0W-20 Full Synthetic.
