always thought it was thursday… but my classes arent published yet on canvas, and I’ve only gotten 3 out of 5 emails from profs/instructors so far. I am waitlisted #1 for a M/W in-person class, but havent heard anything yet. am I supposed to go?? I live an hour and a half away 💀 it’ll be my only in-person class for M/W 💔 it’s I/O Psyc for anyone who cares

after panicking for a whole week, my FA finally got posted yesterday around 2pm. I accepted awards, but none of them reflected my tuition yet. I got pell grants and state university grants, which I assume is equivalent to cal grants. wondering if anyone is going through the same thing

back in may I added my old CC to take summer classes from. I ended up withdrawing and took them at sjsu instead. I’ve been logging into mysjsu this week to look for FA, and saw someone said try logging into webgrants to see my awards instead. when I logged in, I saw it was my CC that was on there, and not sjsu. I changed it and then it says I’m not awarded any cal grants due to transferring to ineligible E3 school? what does that mean? I also removed my CC from my fafsa this morning since when I logged into webgrants, they said to remove the school I’m not attending. I emailed FAO twice already and still have yet to receive a reply. lowkey panicking since this is my last sem and cant afford to lose grants. I submitted my fafsa on nov 2025.

edit: called them 5x and they keep ending the call on me before I even reach a real person.

waitlist #1 for both. which one should I do? they are at the exact same time and first day is on thursday (next week). not sure which one to go to. it’s my last PE class and I’m in my final semester

I’m a graduating senior literally this Fall sem and applied for FAFSA on Nov 5th, 2025. usually, by this week, I’ll be getting my FA estimates and refund by the end of the week. still nothing. my summer classes ended on friday. grades still not posted but I am passing so that shouldnt be a worry. been waiting all summer for it and none. fall sem starts next week. this waiting game is ridiculous.

been checking mysjsu at least 3x a day for fall FA or even a deferral. checked this morning and saw they put a deferral for my fall tuition. I know it’s not what I’m expecting but it’s good for now, so I won’t get dropped from my last sem classes for not paying lol. hopefully, the package comes next!

I don’t know why suddenly I want the bags I’ve been seeing on ads a few weeks back but now they’re either sold out or product page not found.

I got 2 kayla mini convertible wrislets, one in pink(!) and recently got a cinder gray. I looked past the regular kayla since I’m more of a small bag girly. but recently started bringing a lot more stuff than my small bags fit! I checked out the coach teri but could not justify the price, and a lot of counterfeit items show up for it already. (it kinda made the bag tacky for me…sorry) anyway, hoping they restock it! or if anyone can do a girly a favor and see which stores has it, my zip is 94551! 💓

got into SVP triple (AH) but cancelled housing since it’s my last semester and rent + meal plan alone takes 98% of my FA ($12.4k charge of rent + meal plan + tuition, when I’m supposedly only getting $12.8k FA lol) but I hope whoever was next on the waitlist takes over! I’ve talked to one other girl that was supposed to be my roommate and shes really sweet 💕 I just cant justify paying that much LOL

so I was just informed we are assigned beds, which I should’ve known but overlooked when looking at my room assignment lol. my letter is A, I wonder what bed/loft that is? if you stayed in SVP triple, how was it? it’s my first (and last time) dorming so would like to know some tips :) thanks!

has anyone gotten their tuition fee deferral for fall 2026 yet? I owe $12k as of right now due to housing. but got a housing extension until 8/31, and owe $4k (I’m assuming, for tuition?) due on 8/14. I have negative -$1500 SAI, and is considered an independent this semester (I turn 24 later this year), so I was hoping to get max aid to cover tuition + housing costs. will email FAO but just wondering if the tuition fee deferral for fall has been posted yet

I started session 2 this week and still waiting for my FA 😭 I got pell grant ($1849) and owe $945 for summer tuition (6 units). will I be getting the leftovers? I also have loans ($6155) but not sure if I’m getting it? I accepted it but unsure how disbursement works in the summer.

spent 3 weeks going back to my home country and seeing friends and family again after 5 years. it made me realize what it truly means to be alive, being able to live and have fun and not worry about material things.

when I got back, the whole experience got me thinking. I don’t really need all these bags, and the whole, “do I want it, or do I want others to see that I have it?” comes to mind. I have 5+ 19x14 boxes of bags, most of them Coach that I’m planning to let go of while I’m still high on dopamine lmao. there’s truly so much more than material things. right now, it’s the experience vs materials for me. I loved living life fully and not worrying about missing out on a drop. it’s so much more fun living that way.

I start next week and still haven’t gotten my summer aid. I applied for loans since my grant doesnt cover enough of my tuition. now I have a past due balance. does anyone know when we’re getting it? I emailed FA but it’s out of office hours already. when I checked the website, it says they’ll disburse refunds every week. I thought it happens every tuesday. but tuesday passed and nothing.
