i'm unsure if these are split ends or just my layered hair, and what to really do about it. i'm worried they're the cause of my hair not ever really growing as much as it used to. i only used gel and it's mid air dry right now; i've also been cutting my hair myself my whole life if that helps, and when it dries it isn't really visible in my curls, just kind of frizzy towards my crown. pls help me out :<

routine: l'oréal ever pure shampoo, l'oréal dream lengths curls conditioner, and aussie gel. styled with bounce curl volume brush and a wide tooth comb after detangling. i don't really protect my hair at night, just put it in a hair tie. my refresh consists of rewetting hair, some curl cream, and scrunching

does anyone have links to any brushes that look like this? specifically looking for one like this that's opaque, untextured with square flow but a rounded sharp tip on the ends? i'm assuming it's a marker style pen but i haven't been able to find anything exactly similar on procreate :<
