I’m in Catalina for the first time right now and had planned to snorkel either the casino dive park or lovers cove tomorrow and Sunday. However, I ran into someone who said the wind coming in from the hurricane is going to make it way too choppy. I know it’s hard to predict for sure and I can just walk out there tomorrow and see, but does anyone have any thoughts on whether it’s worth trying or silly to even try?

We have an appointment for tomorrow for in-home euthanasia for our 17 year old cat. I adopted her when she was 6, and she was my first pet. She is the most special cat - when I took her home, she didn’t even explore, just beelined to my lap for snuggles. She literally changed everything for me and I have been completely enamored and obsessed with her for 11 years now.

I know time will help, I know it will get better, and I know every second of grief is worth the time I got with her - but right now I’m really feeling like I wish they could put me down with her. I don’t wanna be in a world without her in it
