I’m struggling to decide if I want to buy canvas white sneakers or loafers for daily casual wear this summer. A casual shoe that can be worn with both pants and shorts while not looking like I’m trying too hard. I’ve recently updated my wardrobe to include linen shirts, shorts, and pants. Here’s a quick pros and cons list I’ve made in my head:

Canvas shoes
Pros: More versatile, plenty of options,
Cons: “Basic,” doesn’t necessarily elevate an outfit

Loafers
Pro: Looks nicer, can be dressed up or down
Cons: Can come off as douchey, especially in a very casual environment, comfortability/walkability(?)

I’d love some input! In my head, I think loafers have the ability to make any outfit look much better, but I also think they may be too much especially for an everyday shoe (think going to dive bars, etc.).

I’ve been hitting the gym consistently for a while now and have added sizable growth to my arms and chest. I’m still a slim athletic build, but I’m wondering if anyone knows of any t-shirts that emphasize the arm and chest area without looking extremely douchey? I’m picturing plain ts that I could wear to a bars in the summer. I get advertisements for True Classics on Instagram all the time, but Reddit reviews seem to be fairly negative. I also am not a huge fan of their lack of colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
