Saturday morning. Coffee in hand. Nothing to do but play.
Best feeling on earth. What are you choosing?
Got this beauty for a steal on Facebook marketplace and it’s an absolute ripper. I wasn’t too sure about the ruby slippers style sparkle finish at first but now that I’ve played it and admired it up close I fkn love it.
The fanned frets are way more extreme than my Strandberg and took a minute to get used to. Especially on the lower frets where you have to stretch wider than usual. but the quick feel of the neck and frets are magnificent for fast mid to high range passages.
Omg. I love this guitar.
I am a relative newcomer to amp modelling and I went on a bit of a buying spree when I first got my QC last year. At the time I just bought all the famous guitarist archetypes. I don't regret it, they are all pretty great.
But Nolly blows them all out of the water. I just bought it today because it's so damn cheap and I wish I'd bought it first. I've been playing with it all day with my jaw dropped. I still have no idea who or what a Nolly is, but these tones are insane and it is far more versatile than any of the other plugins. You could use this for everything from blues, folk, funk, jazz, fusion and metal.
If you're on the fence and/or on a budget while watching the clock tick down on the sale, just buy Nolly. The value for money is insane. I think it is by far the best of all the plugins I've bought and I have most of them.
