Timeline Question

Hi all,

my partner and I will be renting our first property together shortly but I am feeling a little concerned and would like some advice.

We had our application accepted and reference checks passed on Wednesday, early morning, and confirmed our move in date. They said they would 'pull everything together' but we haven't heard anything since.

We are meant to move in in 8 days but no contract has been sent and it is fully unfurnished so we need to order things like beds and white goods which usually have a week delivery time at least but don't want to order it until the tenancy is finalised.

Is this a normal wait time or should I email them for an update?

If it helps they originally wanted us to move in on the 10th but we asked for later as that would have only given us about 5 days to sort everything while working full time.

thank you - nervous first time renters

Need help designing a market display

Hi everyone!

It was recommended to me in another subreddit that I come here and ask if anyone is able to help with where to start when designing your displays?

I have a very specific aesthetic and immersive vibe that I just cannot find similar inspo for anywhere and, whilst I am an artist, my brain does not work in 3D or commercial ways (I draw portraits primarily) and I refuse to ask AI.

I'm happy to give more details to whoever if needed but for now I will say it is dark academia/folklore aesthetic.

All the tables I see at artist alley and markets are very kawaii (which suits their style and looks great!) but just would clash with my work.

Please help design a trader stand/booth

Hi everyone!

It was recommended to me in another subreddit that I come here and ask if anyone is able to help sketch up some basic designs (or give me verbal direction) for a 6ft table display or a gazebo display for my small business I am just starting up? (I think having one will help me be able to do the other tbh)

Unfortunately I am just starting out so I don't have much of a budget, I am hoping someone is able to help for only a little money or a trade of services (either actual products from my stock or commissioned artwork). I know this is a big ask but it was recommended I try in case anyone needs to build their own portfolio or is willing to help out of kindness 😄

Guidance request for designing an immersive stand/shop display that is good for conversion

Hi all, I am a traditional artist trying to figure out my setup for things like comic con and outdoor markets (I am also signed up for a few pride events)

I am not sure the best way to display my products for single table events or ones where I have a whole 3m x 3m pitch.

The problem is my brain just cannot think in that way, it seems my brain is only built for people art and cannot do the logistics of geometry/dimensions and commerce.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to give some tailored advice or even help me sketch/plan the displays?

Part my issue is it needs to be a very specific aesthetic/immersive vibe not just art. I have built like a mini world so it needs to be as though you are stepping into it if that makes sense?

I keep getting advice to just ask A-I to generate a display but I hate it and refuse to use stolen work, as an artist it is against everything I believe in so please don't suggest it.

**Everyone please report and mods please ban any tool mentioned in response to this post (**this statement is in reference to A-I tools, 3D builder software is fine ofc)
