I’m going to start a first play through on my steam deck soon and I’m wondering what essential polished mods I should use. I know that many people are probably in the mindset of no mods for the first play through but I would like to use some. Open to any suggestions!
Looking for some steam deck OLED and PS5 cross play games to play with my wife. The only really requirement for a suggestion is that the steam deck performance has to at least hit 60 fps pretty consistently.
Games I’ve ruled out/tried already and didn’t like or wife didn’t like
-Overwatch: honestly this game is just in a pretty boring state and you can’t play competitive between the two systems
-it takes 2: played
-Minecraft: already played together and kind of exhausted it
-Earth defense force 5: played split screen on my PS5 and she thought it was pretty mid
Games I’m thinking about but haven’t pulled the trigger on yet
-Abiotic Factor: looks great, but just unsure if me and my wife will have a good time playing with just the two of us. I feel like it’s either a four player or one player game. Also not sure if she’ll like it
-Astroneer: takes a little work to set up a server between the systems and not sure if she’ll like the just grinding aspect of it.
-marvel rivals: honestly she just thinks it looks like a shit game and I don’t really disagree so haven’t played it with her yet lol
There’s probably more in both categories, but this is all I can think of off the top of my head for now.
