Hello everyone, I’ll start off with my motorcycle resume.
2011-2003 Buell XB9R ~3,000 miles
2011 to 2013-2009 Buell 1125CR ~17,000 miles
2015 to 2016-2015 Yamaha FZ-07 ~10,000 miles
2016-2015 Honda Grom ~300 miles (long life changing story)
2017 to 2019-2017 Yamaha FZ-07 ~26,000 miles
2019 to 2022-2019 Yamaha Super Ténéré ES ~36,000 miles
2022 to 2024-2022 Yamaha MT-07 (I like these) ~14,000 miles
2024 to still own-2023 Yamaha FJR1300 ES 13,900 currently
Tomorrow-2026 Honda CRF300L Rally
So that’s all the bikes I’ve owned/currently own plus the miles I’ve put on them. Add another ~5,000 or so I’ve done on bikes I didn’t own.
Most of my riding has been on the road with about 2-5% of it being on dirt roads or stone.
I liked the idea of an enduro and was looking at small displacement for a little while until I discovered the 300 Rally about a week ago and it checked off what I was looking for (basically a lighter version of my Super Ténéré). I’m in Central New Jersey and I know there are plenty of trails around the Pines down south. I’m excited to get into a new side of riding and build my skills there.
