Hi! I recently discovered Marina and I really enjoyed the few songs that I’ve listened to. I feel like there are probably a lot of hidden gems in her discography and I’ll make sure to listen to all of it.

In the meantime do you have any recommendations? What are your personal favorite songs? Which ones do you think have the best lyrics? Which ones have the best production / instrumental or just sound the best overall?

Are there any songs that feel particularly different from the rest of her discography? Maybe because they have a different genre or style?

If you could introduce Marina to a new fan what would you want them to know about her? Any fun facts or interesting things about her career that you think a new fan should know?

English isn't my first language, so I have a few questions about the lyrics of Drum Show and I'd love to hear your interpretations.

• What does "drown it out" mean in the context of the song? Does it have a negative connotation ?
• "He'd rather feel something than nothing at all" is this meant as a general statement, or something specific and temporary? Does it imply that he's currently feeling nothing?
• In the line “now they have to let you out of your cage”, who do you think “they” refers to?
• “He'll never ever say so” am i correct in thinking this means that he would never admit that he's taking a longer way home?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to better understand Twenty One Pilots' lyrics, and I was wondering how you interpret the lyrics of Garbage

I've seen quite a few people describe it as a song about self-hatred, but that wasn't my first impression. I read it more as someone feeling like they don't function the way they should, without necessarily judging themselves for it. I'm curious to hear other interpretations and see how other people read it.

I'd also love to hear your thoughts on these specific lines:

I'm not very used to Reddit or online communities, so I hope this is the right place to ask.

My little sister is 11 years old and has some learning difficulties, but she really wants to learn English so she can understand Twenty One Pilots lyrics by herself.

I can help her with basic English, but I sometimes struggle with the interpretation of certain lyrics. Since this is probably going to be a long-term project, I'm not looking for help with one specific line right now.

I've already been checking Genius annotations and watching YouTube videos about the songs, which has been really helpful, but there are still plenty of lines where I'm not sure I fully understand what's being said or implied. We're French, so sometimes it's the nuances, references, or wordplay that I struggle with rather than the basic meaning.

I was wondering if there is a community, subreddit, or other space where people discuss and explain TOP lyrics and would be willing to answer questions.
