i finally booked a flight...tips? 18f

im going to my out of state university soon with a full ride. my parents have no clue, and I wont tell them. I'm sneaking out the window in exactly 10 days from now and leaving for good at night. i booked my flight, soon my hotel while I wait for school to start. my parents are forcing me to go to community college so i have to do that for a week before I can move, so i still have to figure that out financially.

otherwise, im nervous af, and im scared about them seriously have heart attacks when they realize im gone even tho I'd be leaving a letter. im also scared about them pulling upto my school.

im excited and nervous. does anyone have tips for tsa, dorm products, dorm life, and all other things? I would also like to know how to go about my parents if they refuse to accept my decision and blow up my phone. I dont wanna block them I still love them deeply despite them being very controlling and possessive.

does sfs ever do their job

I got my financial aid estimate in may and my fafsa SAI is -1500, the lowest of the low. a month ago, fafsa decided to give me a identification error that can only be resolved by going to a notary. I emailed sfs SO many times about this.

the form they said to fill out isn't even available on the website link they gave, more than THREE WEEKS later than they said. either they just told me the wrong name of the document or most likely didnt even add it because none of the other document names make sense.

I wish I could go in person, but I live all the way across the country from their office in boston and im going to oakland campus. they wont even respond to me asking to put the bill on hold until this gets figured out.

how much am I gonna have to bug them about this?? im an incoming freshman and my sprit is already dimmed.

18F running away for college soon, any advice?

as the title insinuates, my parents don't know where im going to college. they forced me to try hard in all my years of hs and now are forcing me to go to community college so I can stay in their control. I got into a good uni in another state which is where im sneaking out to.

(the thing is my fafsa gave me a verification identification process error, which can only be verified through a notary but I cant go to one due to my parent controlling my every move outside, so ive been emailing them to see if there are any alternatives, but otherwise if it gets fixed its a full ride due to how poor I am.) I feel guilty leaving my family still due to how poor we all are.

in the daytime I feel excited about the fact im leaving, and at night I stay up super later stressing and being sad about it. does anyone have tips to adjust to college life?

also, I dont have enough money for a new phone. if I use the one they pay for will they track me down?? i dont even know how to go to the airport and check in properly 😞

housing in oakland

hi, im an upcoming cs major and I got assigned to clare springs in the townhouses! there's literally no images i can find that relate to this apartment but apparently its far from classes and the main things on campus. additionally im in a double bedroom (with my friend thankfully) but there are eight of us total with two bathrooms.

does anybody have any insight on what clare springs would look like?? im a bit nervous considering they dont have any measurements for us either

I got some money from it, then tiktok started limiting my views. my question is if anybody has good tips to get more commissions or views?? they're cheap and in a more conventional style so idk why they get no attraction 🥹🙏

how to deal with depression

ive been a wreck ever since deconstructing at 9 years old, and now im 18. I plan on sneaking out for university in a state right next to me even though we have cameras. ive been anxious and depressed at times for a while due to my family's controlling behavior and how religious they are, forcing me to wear the hijab since I turned 9. now, that im moving secretly in less than 3 months, the depression and anxiety has gotten worse. my parents are poor so me moving out means less government help and they would struggle more. I wonder more and more if its worth it every day.

on one hand, I want to go out like a normal teen. ive never even been to school events because of my parents. they dont let me hang out for more than 2 hours and only let me out once a week or so. I hate wearing hijab, I want to be the fashionable person I am and be alt to my full extent. I want a boyfriend or a girlfriend. I want to experience love before marriage. but on the other hand, I know how shattered my parents will be. I keep going back and forth about this crying thinking about what will happen. has anybody left their household situation similar to mine and then after a while got back to speaking with their parents? I dont want to never talk to mine again, despite them being religiously brainwashed

sorry for long post, ik my last post was similar but I've been getting more depressed each day. if anyone can also give me tips for packing out and moving out that would be appreciated. I plan on going through the window but I dont know if a suitcase would fit
