Hi for context we are both scientist at top universities in Canada. I have my canadian citizenship and passport (originally Algerian) and she is still on a student permit finishing her phd.

We want to apply for a b1b2. For record, she has many scientific publications and made a name for herself already

Anyone had some experience to share? Given the current climate

Ideally we would like to go to Grand Canyon national park and hike other mountains etc..
