Sweet Snowbie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Sweet Snowbie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Just wanted to let everyone know that our sweet Snowbie (government name: Snow White) crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.

She had fallen off our 3rd story balcony a few weeks ago, and through xrays the vet determined she had fractured her tibia and dislocated part of her tail.

During a follow up visit, the vet was concerned because she had lost weight and determined to have a heart murmur.

When I called about getting terramycin for her eyes, I mentioned she wasn't eating. Vet wanted her back in.

At that visit, the vet thought she might have either pancreatitis or liver failure, because she was jaundiced. She wanted her hospitalized that day.

After looking at the treatment plan, the cost would have been upwards of $10k, and at 14 years old, no quality of life could be determined.

She went downhill so fast--like, overnight. She developed an upper respiratory infection and was dehydrated from not eating or drinking. The vet gave her fluids, pain meds and an antibiotic to get her through the night. The next day, we sent her to the Rainbow Bridge. She's now once again with her brother from another mother, Stud.

Lower Fairfield County's Commercial Real Estate Market

Stamford's office market in particular is an interesting case right now.

A lot of the usual discussion focuses on vacancy rates, but one thing that doesn't get talked about as much is how many office buildings are being removed from the inventory altogether for adaptive reuse--there are four Class A buildings in Stamford alone (each 200k SF RBA or more) that are now off-market and slated for reuse. As a result, part of the reason availability rates are stabilizing (this report found no change year-end 2025 vs mid-year 2026 despite considerable leasing activity and tenant movement) is that the total amount of office space is changing.

Do you think Stamford should continue encouraging office-to-residential conversions, or should more of these buildings be preserved as office space for future growth? This market survey doesn't touch on retail, but we're sure to see a shift in local shopping malls as well. SoNo Collection is up for sale, Trumbull Mall went into foreclosure and Stamford Town Center has been fighting for it's life for what feels like decades.

For anyone interested, here's the survey and market data I was reading: https://choycepeterson.com/marketsurvey/

Gray starts off the show by telling Wildbill off

Gray doesn't want to see anyone saying hi hi hi hi hi, he wants answers NOW.

Do you want him to do this or not?

Wildbill says he and a few others already said YES.

Gray searches the chat and sees Lisa V, AliCake and WB have, indeed, said yes...they want to hear about whatever drivel he wants to talk about tonight. Which leads him to tell WB that he doesn't need to be corrected, "and shit like that".

I hope he makes $10 tonight, ingrate.
