Coffee machine help

Hi, I’m a student going into first year undergrad and I am addicted to coffee. I’ve unfortunately gotten hooked onto espresso… and I am poor ☹️. I was thinking of getting a small nespresso machine (which wouldn’t be the same as an espresso machine, I know, but it’s something) for my room. But I want to know what others have done? Is the price of the pods worth it?

Thanks! 😊

Should I take the PREP PHYSICS course??

Hi! I’m a student going into my first year of undergrad at STFX, and I’m really really regretting not taking physics in High school… I’m thinking of maybe pursuing engineering in the future… or at least keeping that door open. I saw that Dalhousie has a pretty cheap online physics course during the summer (OLCD-UPPY0010 - UNIVERSITY PREP PHYSICS (PHYSICS 0010.00)), and I’m thinking of taking it. Here’s the thing. I have no prior knowledge of physics… like at all….

Questions: I was accepted and going to STFX for a general science with a major, but i would totally be open to switching programs in my second or third year if I wanted to, would they take this course as a physics course when I apply for engineering? Should I only take this if I have prior knowledge of physics? Or would I be fine? Has anyone else taken this course?

Thanks!

Failed my driving test and I don’t know what I did wrong?

so I took my first driving test today, and all was going good. I was driving up to an intersection that was red, but it turned green before I got to it. The red car in my image was stopped but wasn’t signalling and wasn’t moving at all, so I, even though it was green (I was making a left turn) pulled a little out into intersection, not infront of anything and waited, but he still wasn’t moving… he then waved my on. So, thinking that he was broken down maybe… I started turning… and THEN three kids ran across the road infront even though the light was still green for me. So I slammed onto my brakes and then the red car started to honk at me. So I let the kids run along, I check both ways, then I started to drive again. I had no other demerits points at all. But I was automatically failed. She gave no intel as to why either. She just said “dangerous action”. Is this a fair fail? Like I know it was dangerous, but was it really my fault? Or was it just an unfortunate situation
