Hey everyone, just reading The Long Road novel, which came out this year and I have to say it is really underwhelming. After previously reading A Question of Survival + No Substitute for Victory one after another, The Long Road just comes out a fancy pancy drama.
I have only seen Tara Cambel in the novel Hour of the Wolf and there I had a feeling she is pretty badass MechWarrior. Never expected her to be... so downgraded to a rookie foot soldier doing police raid work for the Falcons and the new Star League. Also the same thing with Anastasia Kerensky, her character here comes out so boring and all not soldier like.
Not sure if its the writer or the setting, but everything is kind of weak and like I am watching a drama series on one of the TV. Maybe the novel turns out right by the end, but I am not sure how can that happen with these characters.
Just got this multiplayer mod setup and want to ask if there is like a place where people come and meet up for battles/sessions? Or it will randomly pop up?
