I am starting to breed sebastopol geese show quality. Ive only been in the geese world for like 3 years, newerish to breeding. In my area, show quality sebastopol geese, and sebastopol geese in general are hard to come by and I have paid upwards of 800 a bird. To keep things short, I am looking at breeding for feather quality and body structure, while also maintaining the breed standard. When I think about my situation, I am extremely lucky to be able to afford show quality birds, my husband and I are first generation farmers, with no kids. I am very much open to making my show quality birds, more accessible and affordable without diminishing the quality. The real question is, would there be much of a market for it? I am not looking to make much of a profit. Just enough to cover feed costs and other bird costs. These geese are my babies and passion. I am not a gatekeeper by any means, but I am worried that people who are in the sebastopol goose community will think of me as an enemy because I could be lowering their potential profits.

There is this seller/buyer whose name starts with an M. First off, she is a totally pick me with the sellers. Second off, she goes live on whatnot crying, said her dad is upset because she continuously asked him for money and ended up spending it all on what not. Said she made 300 purchases with her dads money and now he's mad at her because she lied to him the entire time she was asking him for money. Mind you, she is a grown ass woman who could have a job and earn her own money. So I guess her dad was banning her on what not, but she ended up continously being on. Sometimes I will watch shows where she will comment things like "Omg I just got home from pilates" on the sellers lives and spams them and literally 80 percent of the time, these sellers that she thinks shes friends with dont even acknowledge her. Nobody cares! Honestly, I think she just believes if she buys stuff from the sellers consistently they will be friends with her. Whatnot needs to ban sellers/buyers like this. Its all so fake to me. She needs mental help.
