I started off excited to be accepted into this program because I know how competitive it is and I really do want to be a nurse.

But now I'm really worried. NVCC's nursing program is coming across as severely disorganized. It feels like a car is being built up as it's being driven. With some of the deadlines and timelines, there is so little regard for the people in the program. The orientation had no real answers but a full day commitment. We couldn't bring food because it would be provided, but not enough food was available.

We just got schedules. Castlebranch still has not been updated. All of this creates unnecessary stress.

We get mandatory meetings out of the blue that probably could be emails. If this is the start of the program, what does the actual program look like? Shouldn't this be smoother? I understand that the program is rigorous and you have to be on top of things, but shouldn't it go both ways?

Castlebranch is saying that requirements for the nursing program are due today and canvas says Aug 14th.

Very confused at the two different deadlines. I don't have my flu vaccine because many places don't offer it until mid month, so now I come up as overdue.

Are there still no updates on this? I'm trying to make arrangements, but it's hard having no information about when it starts.

I'm looking for some advice. I got accepted into this program. At the same time, I've discovered that I'm pregnant. Due date could be during the second semester.

Are we able to pause a semester and continue the program? Or, does anyone have any insight into what the second semester would be like?
