Epic keeps denying my recovery requests even with proof of ownership
Okay so i’ve been putting in recovery requests nonstop since July 20th and literally ALL of them have been denied 😭. I’ve been providing transaction IDs, my friends list, skins I owned, previous display names, the original email, etc. I don’t have access to my original email anymore, but I’ve still been able to provide a lot of the information connected to the account. And every time it’s either “we cannot confirm you made the account” or “there were inconsistencies found.” LIKE?? 😭
I’ve literally been using my PDF and ChatGPT to make sure I’m giving them accurate information and keeping all my answers consistent. And yes, I am the original owner. I made this account in 2018 and it was hacked in December 2024.
When I originally tried getting it back in 2024, it kept saying “account not found,” so eventually I just gave up. I didn’t know about the live agents back then 😭. I was talking about the whole situation with a friend recently and decided to give it another shot. This time my account was actually found, so I gave it another shot but there’s been no luck🫠.
I’ve provided pretty much everything I can think of, and I’m still getting denied.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there something specific Epic looks for that I might be missing, or anything else I should try? Any thoughts?
Note: I relocated states around 2022-2023, and I no longer have the same phone. However, the phone I’m using now has accessed the account before.
