Looking for a Mentor/friend that align with my practices and life
Hey. I don't have any real occultists friends. I do have some acquaintances who are interested in the topics but they're usually very beginner, not only in the craft but in life, or they're curious and I'm the mentor most of the time, recommending things to them.
Also, I tried to joining a Coven last year to see if I could meet people alike, but the person didn't like at all that I was reading The Gallery of Magick instead of the classics from Wicca. And I don't like to have my freedom taken just to be part of a group.
I'm looking for a person who already practice it for a while and could mentor me somewhat in the craft and life. I want to know people who are better than me somehow, older and wiser than me.
Someone who already has sorted things such as "already bought a house", "has a career/ business" or "has a family", and handled it while practicing magic. There are things that only those people understands in life.
My goal is to build stability in my life while I dedicated to magic. This stability involves buying a house so I don't have to worry about renting anymore, and built a certain financial security for my family.
I'm a business person who started practicing it to save my business, ended up closing it. The practices made me realise that I had other things to accomplish, and gave me other kinds of business ideas. I'm in the process to start again.
The kind of practice I started was candle magic at first, then I started working with Sigil Magick with Archangels. I also did Hekatean rituals, I have a dream journal and I've been writing my dreams for a year. Now I'm currently reading and practicing different rituals from the Gallery of Magick.
My first book was the Secret Angel Magick, which gave interesting results and motivated me to buy more of their books. I'm currently doing the FTM rituals, and will start the Success Magick.
I'm open to rituals recommendations on that matter as well.
