I am planning to buy my first bike (soo soo excited!) ever and I've zeroed in on the RS now after a lot of thought, what should I check during delivery + what all should i modify to make the riding experience more fun?

Also would like to know about a list of periodic maintenance that I should do to keep the bike smooth running.

I have test driven them both today but i haven't found major differences except that i am leaning a bit forward on the RS and the seat was a bit smaller. RS looks slightly cooler but again not that big a difference between them. Can anyone guide me? I am very confused. None of the above are deal breakers to me.
