I broke my flippy drive

I got to the part where you are supposed to connect the FD ribbon cable to the FD board. The tutorial I was watching said to open it up a little with your nail so the ribbon will go in. Well, I broke the white piece. The cable could kinda still get in but it’s flimsy. Tried booting my GameCube and it just goes to the regular stock menu.

I am so mad at myself. I ordered in June and waited months for this. Had to order a gamebit screw driver. And I f-ing broke it. I’m so disgusted with myself, usually I’m good with tech.

Somehow my background became a bright green and it hurts my eyes

Idk what the hell happened but it’s this obnoxious bright green. It’s hurting my eyes and it’s hard to read any text. Switching from dark to light mode does nothing on YT itself does nothing. Changing the theme color/dark mode light mode does nothing. Resetting/turning my pc on/off does nothing. I’m so confused. If anybody has any ideas how I can get it back to normal I’d appreciate it.
