Free Jellyfin access: TeaPot server, opening ~20 spots
Hey everyone,
I've been running my Jellyfin server for a while now, mostly for myself and a few friends. Most of the time though, there's a whole library sitting there with barely anyone watching it, so I decided to open it up to some people here.
Honestly, I just really like seeing people use something I've built. I also want to get some experience actually running a server for real users instead of just myself and people I know.
So I'm opening up 20 spots for now.
Access is completely free. I'm not selling anything, there are no donations or paid tiers. All I'd really like in return is some honest feedback while you use it. If something buffers, doesn't play properly, acts weird on your device, or you notice anything else, just tell me and i will help to get it fixed.
A little about the server
- 366 movies and 261 shows with around 13,254 episodes(~15TB)
- Mostly 1080p and 4K content
- A mix of Indian, Hollywood, international movies, TV shows, serials, cartoons, anime etc.
- Transcoding is available for devices that need it
- Hosted on my own hardware at home
- Jellyfin v10.11.11
- New content can be requested directly inside Jellyfin or through Seerr
- Unlimited requests for now
- India hosted, 500mbps up fiber
Just keep in mind that this is still a home server. I can't promise 100% uptime, and sometimes I might be working on something or restarting stuff. There may be a few rough edges here and there, which is also kind of why I want more people using it.
Only a couple of rules: please don't share or resell your account. If a friend wants access too, just ping me and I'll happily set them up with their own account. If you're completely inactive for 20 days, I may free up the spot for someone else.
