Defective Board, Denied Warranty, and Offered Only Partial Store Credit — Extremely Disappointed

I purchased the iROCKER CX Ultra bundle for over $1,000 and expected the same quality as my previous iROCKER board, which lasted seven years. Unfortunately, the new board developed multiple defects within the first two weeks and five uses.

The issues included:

  • Peeling around the valve (a structural and safety‑critical area)
  • Peeling around mounting points
  • Stretched bungee cords after the first outing
  • A misaligned paddle
  • Glue lifting in multiple places despite careful storage and proper drying

I opened a warranty claim immediately. Instead of addressing the structural defects, iROCKER told me to buy glue and repair the board myself — including gluing down the deck pad, which was ironically the only part not peeling. This is not an acceptable warranty remedy for a brand‑new board.

Over the next six weeks, my claim was repeatedly delayed, misclassified, and mishandled. During this time, replacement hulls were still in stock, yet I was never offered one. My claim was initially denied based on “deck pad lifting,” which I never reported.

When the claim was finally escalated, iROCKER refused to replace the board and instead offered store credit only. Over the phone, I was told the credit would be $633, which is not even enough to replace the board I purchased. They also tried to reduce the value of my purchase by removing the value of items that were advertised as free bundle items, which I had proof of.

After I rejected the store credit and requested a replacement hull (which was still available at the time), iROCKER stopped responding.

I have been left with a defective, unsafe, unusable board, no replacement, and an offer of partial store credit that does not align with their written warranty. After this experience, I will not be purchasing from iROCKER again.
