Hey, idk anything about hypnosis. Just FYI.

But this happened twenty years ago and it’s always bothered me.

It was a cheerleader slumber party and we got the idea to hypnotise one of us. One girl Alex apparently had “experience” doing it.

She got another girl named Molly to lie down, count backwards from five, and got her into a “hypnotic” state (I guess idk). Alex then started asking Molly questions about where she was, who was with her, etc. Molly said something about being in her old house and her sister was there.

Now, none of us believed Molly was actually under hypnosis. There was a lot of giggling and farting. We all assumed Molly was faking it and that she’d break any second.

But she didn’t. She just kept talking with a completely dead look on her face.

And then suddenly she screamed. And wouldn’t stop.

Alex slapped the sht out of her to wake her up. Molly then crawled into the corner of the room and chewed on the end of her thumb while rocking back and forth. She stared off into space, tears streaming down her face, and wouldn’t speak to anyone for twenty minutes.

We didn’t know wtf to do. But we did know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Molly was not faking it. Things got DARK real fast.

Molly eventually shook herself out of it and told us she just wanted to go to bed. So that’s what we did.

And then the slumber party ended the next morning and we all left and never spoke of it again.

And now twenty years later I still think about it. Even with all the life experience I have now, I can’t explain it as anything other than “btch got hypnotised.”

So, any insight here anyone?

As I mentioned before, idk anything about hypnosis. But I’m convinced something happened with Molly. I just don’t know what it was or how to explain it.

I’m asking this as respectfully as possible:

Why does there seem to be an obesity problem in the American South?

I know that technically America as a whole has an obesity problem, but it really seems more prominent in the southern states.

Is it just the food culture? Lack of options? Lack of education?

When does spilling tea become invasive and weird in the BGC universe? What’s fair game? What lines should not be crossed?

We’re redoing the pool which means it will have to be drained. Unfortunately we have a bunch of tadpoles living in there that would be killed in the process.

I’d like to relocate them as humanely as possible (we have a wild tadpole-friendly pond nearby that’ll do it) but i know it’s going to be an uphill battle.

Any tips for fishing them out of the pool? We have a standard-sized pool net we’re planning on using to start things off, but using that by itself will be slow and tedious. I was hoping someone could recommend a faster process or even just a large type of fishing net to move things along.

Any suggestions?

One of the OTC medications I get in Mexico is now going to be controlled/prescription-only in July (I’m in the US).

How do I go about getting a prescription in Mexico? I’m planning on doing an on-site consultation at Farmacias Similares or somewhere similar. Do I need a US prescription first? How does this process go?

Also, is there also any way I can get a Mexico prescription online and then just bring it with me?
