since ratmies have been talking about this chart so much and actually dragging other groups for not charting on the billboard hot 100, let's talk how they charted and flopped on that chart .

How hot does 100 work and what is the formula used by billboard to give positions for the songs?

The hot 100 ranks songs on the basis of streaming, sales and radio play . And Neilsen SoundScan monitors the streams , airplay , sales and give points to the songs . And "streaming weighs more weight than the other two"- remember this .

And its stupid that how ratmies are calling billboard a racist and xenophobic when the update that billboard made in 2018 ( adding more weight for the streaming ) beniffited the most for their favorites. ofc they are unknown so indeed their songs won't be played on the radio , so streaming and sales are the only options that are left for them that can help them to chart . And adding more weight to streaming numbers helped their favs to chart with bonus fradulent streams . That means one can chart on billboard hot 100 with negligible radio and only with streams and sales numbers. For example SAD by XXXTentacion debuted at #17 on the hot 100 with low sales and negligible radio , but he has very big streaming popularity . it benifitted him and his single debuted in #17 with just streaming and negligible radio and low sales . Radio air play will only push a song in to an higher postion only if it is getting low to moderate streams if not even radio air play cant save that song.It's just stupid to think that billboard is trying to supress them why do they even care ? They are just any other kpop group to them .

Why do some songs have a free fall on charts ?

1. mass buying of albums in the first week
2. No relevance with GP
3. The songs didnt grab the attention of casual music listeners

4.Billboard sometimes detects the mass buying of albums and mass streaming by using VPNs , which pushes the song even down on the charts .
