Utility Sink Pump

House built in 1940s. Back then it was common to drain washer into utility sink and then into sump basin and out either in sanitary or storm drain. Sump basin has accumulated 80 years of sludge and the awful odor that comes with gray water from the washer. The only other source of water would be the floor drains in the basement, including the condensate from HVAC. Cleaning the sump basin has only provided short-term relief. Strongly considering a utility sink pump to eliminate the sump basin. Would love to hear from those of you that have done the same and how it has worked for you. I’m particularly interested in how you handled the vent. Thanks in advance!!
