Need some advice, first AR/Geissele
I’ve been wanting a super duty in DDC for a long time now and I’m ready to pull the trigger. I’m between 11.5 and 12.5 not sure which to pick. And also not sure if I should for for the Mod1 or the Mod1A (I’m right handed).
Right now it’s out of stock in primary arms but it says it’s on sale for $2,050-$2,150 for the mod1 and $2,500 for the Mod1A. Is the price difference worth it?
It’s going to be more of a range toy but eventually could be used for duty (security)
This is my first AR, if you could share your experience and help me decide I would appreciate it.
Edit: Found a good deal for a Mod1a 11.5 DDC SBR on backorder for only $100 more than the mod 1 so I got it. I’ve been wanting this for months and didn’t want to wait anymore, plus it’s on backorder so it will be a while until it gets here. I don’t really have access to a lot of distance in my outdoor range and will go a lot to indoor since I just joined a club, so a shorter package was the move. I appreciate all your insights. Now help me choose a can!
