How can it not be related?

Went to my primary because I’ve gained 30 lbs in 4 months, keep having panic attacks (very new), extreme daytime fatigue, bad constipation, and my whole body seems starved for hydration despite the large volume of water I drink (sometimes adding LMNT for sodium). I eat healthy and have a fairly active lifestyle. My levels are great, but I’m going to call Monday and see if I can get a copy of them and find out what exactly they tested. However. In the last few months, I have grown a 4cm nodule on the remaining half of my thyroid. It is one if 3 nodules, but the biggest by far. The right side was removed years ago because it kept regrowing a large cyst, no matter how many times we drained it. Saw the ENT today and he said it meeds to come out because it’s too large. I’m nervous about being on medication, primarily because my levels show normal and I feel like crap, so what if it gets worse after they remove it? The only thing I can find online that it may be mimicking is perimenopause as all other options would affect my consistently good labs. Anyone have any experience with anything like this? How can my levels be so normal with only half a thyroid and something so abnormal and large growing on the remaining side?
