Meet Dobby ❤️

Hi all I am new here and found this page when looking up what others have done to avoid the screaming in the kennel every time they go in it and potty help.

I have been successful in 2 outdoor poops, he holds in his pee I think because he only pees once a day.(caught him mid pee today and he continued peeing while being carried through the house to the backyard).

We go outside every morning for 30-60 mins for potty, after every playtime, after every nap, after eating and drinking, and before bed.

For kennel we do the treat thing with the door open and closing it behind him. He screams like crazy when he cant see us, we go in if he quiets down and then let him out.

At nighttime I am guilty of pulling him out of the kennel after hearing him for what feels like hours of crying and have him sleep with me and he sleeps all night snuggled up.

My husband does not like him sleeping in the bed with us and I can’t handle the blood curdling screams all night.

Anyway does anyone have any tips? I have owned many dogs in the past(mainly bigger dog breeds) and I have found Italian Greyhounds really are different haha ❤️
