In our daily we work alone every day except delivery days. We are open 16 hours a day so we have 2 people working 5 hour shifts and one doing a 6 hour shift. Nobody feels safe doing it but we've been told we have no option. Normally I'm on the 6 hours shift and I don't get a break. Due to holidays I'm having to do 10 hour shifts, I don't mind working the 10 hours but I'd rather not be alone for that long. My first 10 hrs alone is tomorrow and I'm really not looking forward to it. I'm closing for my 20 mins break-no chance I'm doing that long alone without a break. Can I pause the just eats/Uber eats/deliveroo while I'm on break? I feel like I'll be told off if I do What does everyone else do when they're on break and lone working?
