Moving accountant, do i let old accountant do year end or not?

Year end 31st July.

My accountant emailed saying they aren't renting my services at end of Sept.

Spoke to another accountant today and they said there is no point in letting them do it.

Her words (from the transcript are):

Oh, I see. So he's got. So to be honest, you better tell him not to do them if you're, you know, looking to have other accountants, because hopefully we should be able to save you tax. I would imagine.

No, I wouldn't. No, no. As I say, it's a bit pointless you you coming to us and having a meeting. Well, it's not pointless, but then we wouldn't be able to do anything for you until a year's time, apart from it, a tax return. But he would obviously, if he thinks he's losing you, he would rather do those accounts for you before you leave him. That makes sense, doesn't it?

I don't know what to do.

I pay current accountant monthly.

He's the one that doesn't want the business.

Could someone reccomend a router?

I have searched but was hoping for some more specific advice.

The 2.4G network reaches the whole house but it is ridiculously slow. I have no idea why it is so bad but 4G is better on your phone.

The 5GHZ network is super fast but is has such poor range. It just about reaches the TV on one bar but that is enough for the TV to work flawlessly.

We live in a 1930s house I the UK and the walls ar thick etc.

The standard modem/router thing is on top of a kitchen cupboard. Not ideal location but the bedrooms above barely get the 5GHZ network.

I want an external router. It's pretty much just for home use really nothing major.

I will eventually want it in the mancave which is 130ft away but will run a CAT 6 cable down or MAYBE just get another Starlink.

I'm thinking I may need a mesh network as well. Or possibly just CAT 6 upto upstairs and put an access point in.

I'm in the UK and it's the Motorised dish Starlink. I have the ethernet adapter.

Any advice would be great!

Want an AI Note taker but not app based

I am so bad at forgetting things and one of the worse ADHD inspired for organisation.

So when I'm working quite often I put my phone down and take my watch off as I have a manual job.

Is there anything I can wear all day that will sit and take notes.

I'm not interested in using the audio footage just something that will drop notes "xyz customer said this" "we are getting low on toilet paper" etc etc

The one that is standing out at the moment is Plaud NotePin

Any reviews or anything better?

Would probably wear it round my neck
