Why do you want my gluten free food when you have your own gluten food?

It’s just so annoying that when I go to parties or events, someone else gets jealous of the food that I bring. I went to a friend’s birthday party and they were all eating cake. I got my own small gluten free donuts in my bag so I wouldn’t be left out, only for someone at the party to go, “Hey, how come she gets donuts! I want some!” Please, you have huge slices of cake for yourself, I would give this up in an instant. I’ve had other instances where I’m required to go to an event with food, and there’s actually something I can eat, for once, only for it to be finished because I was stuck at the back of the line. One time there were Reese’s cups that were individually packaged, and there were 2 left. I didn’t get anything else at the event, and I went to take both when someone else came and took the second one saying that it was for their friend. You and your friend got full plates of food and cupcakes and you want to take away the one option 😭 Another time I went to another event with food and there was another celiac there who got gluten free cupcakes, but she kept them in the regular food area and let people who could eat gluten take them, and I was pretty sure they got cross contaminated. It just sucks that people have to take the one option we have, including the 20 other options they have, just to leave us with nothing :( Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Edit: I need to give some context. In the situations I just talked about, the majority of people knew about my celiac and they were aware of the fact that I needed to be gluten free. Some did not, and I can’t blame them for anything I discussed above. Sometimes I’m able to talk to the event manager and they’ll let me take a plate first, but other times the event is so big that it’s not possible to coordinate.

I made a Looping the Rooms animation but for II!

I did post this on YouTube so some sections may be a bit weird, formatting wise.

What are your favorite burst ships? [image unrelated]

I know some people in the fandom like to ship the characters, so I’m curious to know who you guys ship? Preferably nothing illegal or incest please 😭 Personally I ship SisFree, but I think ShuValt is alright too.

Tips for high school?

Yeah, not much more than just the title. I’m going into high school and I’m a bit nervous because our school is brand new and we’re the first class ever going to the school. It’s only gonna be freshman and sophomores this year, but it’ll expand later. We don’t have any sports teams and we have cubbies instead of lockers (for some reason). We also have it formatted like elementary school where we’re with the same class for the whole day and we just rotate classrooms in a certain section of the school, and we do core classes on one day and electives and such on the next. So after giving some context, are there any things I should know before entering high school? Thanks :D

What is your favorite character that most people don’t like?

I’ve noticed that some characters are hated by a majority of the fandom, but there’s usually still someone who likes them, so who’s that character for you? For me it’s Naoki, I think he’s cool and doesn’t deserve the amount of hate he gets (still deserves hate though for what he did).

This fandom/community is so cool :D

I know literally nobody irl who is actually into the anime and the manga, and this community is filled with people who like it just as much as I do!! Plus a majority of the fandom is super chill and supportive, not to mention the super talented artists!!! Like this is the only place where I can discuss things about the show without feeling cringe because everyone else here ALSO is into stuff like that :) Lol no point of this post just wanted to highlight the greatness of this sub

Is it just me or did the art style get “cuter” in later seasons?

After GT/Rise, I noticed that a lot of the characters started looking a lot “cuter” in a sense, especially in Sparking. From an art perspective, a common way to make characters cuter is to move the mouth up closer to the nose, which was pretty common in later seasons. Take Free for example, you can see the difference between how he looks in each season. I’ve noticed this with other characters too and it just feels a little different. Not like it’s bad or anything, but I wasn’t expecting it when rewatching later seasons. Has anyone else noticed this?

Day 6 of drawing Beyblade Burst characters- Zac

I did a sort of paper mache thing this time and tried a more minimalistic look with this one. This one was requested by u/imso0ld. It still did take a few hours, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! I am still taking requests, so feel free to ask for any characters in the comments!

Which Beyblade Burst characters would you like to see artwork of?

I’m an artist and I love drawing Beyblade characters, but I have no idea who to draw. I know a lot of people like less popular characters and I would love to make more content for characters like those. So what characters do you guys wanna see art of?

Day 5 of drawing Beyblade Burst characters - Valt

This one was requested by u/JennaAkaNinjaStar! I tried digital today, and I like how it came out! I’m definitely more used to traditional because I hold a pencil in a weird way and my hand ends up sitting on my tablet when I draw so it never registers any brush strokes I make 😔 regardless, I actually spent a few hours on this and rendered something digitally for the first time! I am still taking requests, so feel free to request any character (and I mean any character, even the background characters) in the comments! I’ll be making Zac next.

Day 4 of drawing Beyblade Burst characters - Hyde/Hearts

I think I’m gonna have to stop saying I’m doing these in under 2 hours, because while the first ones were under 2, if I want these to look good then it’s gonna take way more than 2 hours lol. Anyway, I stayed up till 2 am to finish this bcuz why not :) and this took me about 5-6 hours to finish! I am still taking requests, so feel free to request any characters in the comments!!

Day 3 of drawing Beyblade Burst characters in under 2 hours - Shu

I tried drawing in the manga style this time! I’m going to do Hyde next, and then Valt. I am still taking requests though, so feel free to drop a character in the comments!

Day 2 of drawing Beyblade Burst characters in under 2 hours - Suoh

I tried my hand at watercolors today, how did I do? Also I’m still taking requests!

Day 1 of drawing Beyblade Burst characters in under 2 hours

I don’t hate how this one came out, as I almost never do digital, but it’s not my best work. (Also yes, the lineart is messy on purpose.) Anyway, who should I do next? I’m taking requests.

Baskin Robbins sprinkles?

I usually can trust Baskin Robbins because I only order the gluten friendly flavors and I make sure they change gloves, use a fresh tub and scoop, etc. I recently went there and asked if their sprinkles were gluten free (I usually order them) and they said that it has gluten. Since then I’ve stopped eating the sprinkles, but I never had a reaction when I did eat them (I’m mostly asymptomatic but if I eat large amounts of gluten then I can get a reaction). Has anyone else had a reaction to these or should I ask and check again?

Beyblade Burst tierlist

Okay before you attack me, I have my reasons-

First of all, Naoki’s actually cool. Yeah, he didn’t do the best things but I still like him.
Second, yes I’m going to rank Gilten that high up (B tier). I absolutely hate him and I hate to see him on screen but also that’s a good thing. The show made me hate him so much which highlights how well he was written (Still a very bad person though).

No, I don’t like a lot of the protagonists and villains after or during Rise. Dante’s cool though.

This is ranked, even in the specific tiers, of who I like the most.
