Does anyone actually enjoy following one-dimensional creators anymore?
I'm building an Instagram and I'm torn between two directions: heartbreak/relationships and personal branding.
Part of me thinks mixing them makes the brand stronger because people are more than one interest, and the topics overlap through identity, confidence, and reputation.
The other part thinks people follow accounts to solve one problem, not to watch someone intellectually wander between niches.
If you discovered an account that talked about both heartbreak and personal branding, would that make you more likely to follow because the creator feels multidimensional, or less likely because the positioning isn't immediately obvious?
I'm asking from a monetization perspective, not just a content one.
