Hi, Im Tiredmars0 and as the title suggest I am a long time D&D 5e player of almost 10 years. When it comes to tabletop games the bulk of my experience is 5e but I have branched off onto other systems such as Vampire the masquerade, Werewolf the apocalypse, Monster of the Week, Pf2e, and SW5e. Not a huge arsenal but I have found myself in quite a few different games and so has my other friend. We can call them Goldenlord for now who has about the same experience and story as me when it comes to TTRPG as we usually play in campaigns together. Now this brings me to today. Over our huge time playing 5e we never managed to fully complete a campaign due to most of them going up to level 20 and having slower progression. We would get through 2 years of a campaign, about the half way mark, before schedules started to conflict. Due this me and Goldenlord are actually interested in playing through the entirety of a campaign by playing through a module. Something we also haven't done much as most DMs, from our experience, would rather run their own homebrew worlds; to clarify that is not a bad thing as we love homebrew settings it is just the reality of our experiences.

For games we are looking to explore Lancer, Cain, or Starfinder 2e. These are the systems we are most interested in playing but they are not the only system we want to test out. If you have a good idea for a D&D game, pathfinder game, gurps, or any other system, hit us up and it might be a yes. We really just like to explore the different systems out there after spending so much time playing D&D and systems like it.

We like to keep things fun, respectful, and open minded. I am personally a person of color so things such as racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. is not something we would be tolerating inside of the group. Adding those themes into a campaign can be discussed once we have all players and DM present.

Final thoughts to wrap this up we would are open to GM's and players that would like to group up. Anybody that is also looking to explore other systems or are already playing them can hit me up on discord.

For games we are looking for anything from DND 2024, to pathfinder, to starfinder, lancer, to Cain. When it comes to other systems we are very open to trying new ones and hope to find others that are also interested in exploring options. Even with that we are fine with DnD or pathfinder too. It doesn't have to be some exotic new system....BUT, it can be.

When it comes to the game we prefer a mixture of combat and role play. Overall we would be the happiest with a mixture of all three pillars of the game but most people don't seem to like exploration. Also just to clarify again a good mix is roughly about half or half or leaning a little bit in one direction. We strive for a balanced game where things exploration, combat, and role play are explored equally. Additionally we don't need a long spanning story or for the DM to write a modern epic of Gilgamesh for us. NOW that would be cool but it isn't necessary. It can be as complex or as simple as the DM wants it to be. Save the town or save the world, it doesn't matter as long as its fun. We like to keep things fun, respectful, and open minded. Final thoughts to wrap this up we would like about 2 or 3 more players to join us as we find a group of 5 or 4 players to be the perfect amount for a party. Of course we also need a DM so please feel free to hit me up! I would also like for everyone to at least be knowledgeable of the rules. We don't require anyone to be a living encyclopedia, but please at least glance at the rule book. On that note we are also fine with new players joining! As long as you are willing to learn your characters or the rules I don't see the issue of having you come onboard. As for Modules the top picks we want would be Ghost of Saltmarsh or Curse of Strahd, but mind you, we can discuss this later on when we have everyone together. That is just OUR top picks.
