Just for some background context, I lived in a rented house with a house of 3 cats. We were all super busy college students and I guess a little too hesitant to introduce our cats. We basically have a rotation where each cat gets to roam the house for 8 hours a day.

My cat (4F) has gotten into fights in the past with the other cats when there were some slip ups when switching cats. She is a very anxious cat that constantly hisses at new people and cats, but never really is the one to start a physical fight. My theory is that her hissing and body language puts the other cats on edge and things snowball from there.

Long introduction aside, I'm moving out and into a new apartment with my gf who has a pair of bonded twins (both 4M). They are both extremely playful cats and I am not sure how to go about introducing my cats to them. Since we are poly in an apartment, and the total space is smaller, I want them to all be able to share the apartment as a whole.

I was considering introducing my cat to one of the boys at a time, but the twins freak out when they are even in a separate room from each other.

TLDR: How do I introduce my very scared and anxious female cat (that has never been introduced to another cat) to a pair of super playful twins that cannot be separated or else they freak out?
