What if your dreams are not random, but your brain testing fake lives?

Like every night your brain loads a cheap simulation and goes:

“Let’s see how this idiot handles being late to school, chased by a bear, and suddenly missing teeth.”

What do you think dreams are actually doing?

What’s the dumbest thing that feels magical when you’re high?

For me, it’s ice cubes.

Like bro… we domesticated cold. We make tiny frozen rocks at home and casually throw them into drinks.

That’s wizard behavior.

This subreddit is still becoming itself.

What should we do more of?

More strange questions?

More drawings?

More weekly themes?

More deep thoughts?

More stupid theories?

More “what the hell did I just read” posts?

Drop ideas, suggestions, post formats, flair ideas, or anything you think would make this place feel more alive.

Drawings, photos, notes app thoughts, cursed sketches, strange objects, unfinished ideas, things you made while your brain was somewhere else.

It doesn’t have to be good. It just has to have a strange little soul.

Post your strongest thought from this week.

Funny, deep, stupid, cosmic, paranoid, beautiful, cursed — whatever came out of the fog and stayed in your head.

Top comment gets unofficially crowned as this week’s brain wizard.

Ask the kind of question that sounds ridiculous at first, but after two seconds everyone realizes it actually deserves an answer.

Example:

If plants can react to light, do they have a version of “looking”?

Drop yours.

Drop the random thought, theory, question, image, or idea that made you go:

“Yeah… this belongs somewhere.”

No need to explain it perfectly. Half-formed thoughts are welcome here. Honestly, sometimes they’re better that way.

This is a place for the thoughts that show up when your brain decides to take the scenic route.

The weird question you suddenly care about way too much.

The theory that sounds insane until you explain it properly.

The dumb idea that might secretly be genius.

The drawing, photo, phrase, moment, or tiny observation that feels important for absolutely no reason.

That’s the point of this subreddit.

You don’t need to post something perfect here. You don’t need a polished essay, a professional meme, or some deep cosmic revelation. Sometimes the best post is literally just:

“Wait… do fish know they’re wet?”

That said, keep the vibe good.

No selling, no sourcing, no drama, no harassment, no trying to ruin someone else’s weird little thought. If someone posts something strange, play with the idea — don’t stomp on it.

This subreddit is for:

High thoughts

Shower thoughts

Odd theories

Funny paranoia moments

Tiny realizations

Drawings and photos with weird energy

Questions that sound stupid but make people think

Ideas that probably came from another dimension

Basically: if your brain cooked something strange, bring it to the table.

Post it. Comment on other people’s thoughts. Add to the madness. Make the subreddit feel alive.

Welcome in.

Now tell us the thought that brought you here.

They just… appear.

So what if consciousness isn’t something you create

but something you tune into?

Like a radio.

And being high just changes the frequency a little.

Like one of those strange flashes where everything becomes too clear for a second. You notice that you’re alive, time is moving, people are aging, your choices matter, nothing pauses, and you’re really here inside all of this. Those moments can feel profound, beautiful, or slightly terrifying.

The last time it happened to me was at my grandfather’s funeral (we didn’t get on very well, but I had to go out of a sense of duty). Whilst I was in the church, I went outside for a smoke, and at that moment, all alone and in silence, I had a sudden flashback in which I remembered, as if it had just happened, how my grandfather used to help me up after I’d fallen off my bike. And in less time than it takes to take a drag on a cigarette, I ‘relived’ everything from that moment of help right up to that moment of standing outside the church smoking.

What triggered that feeling for you?

People talk about growing up like it means replacing your younger self, but maybe that version never disappears. Maybe it just gets buried under routine, stress, shame, responsibility, and time. Maybe a lot of adult pain is really just old feelings wearing new clothes. Do you think the child version of you is still in there somewhere, and if so, what do you think they’d say about who you became?
