I found this PwdrRoom bathing suit cover-up on poshmark and fell in love with the print so hard, that I bought it even though the measurements listed said it would just barely go around me. I’m five foot two, and it was far too long in my smurfy frame as well, so I chopped off the front of the dress and used the fabric I cut off to make two small panels down each side to give me a bit more wiggle room. It is chiffon, and doesn’t have any stretch. One of my favourite pieces to wear because A: it is another completely custom piece now, and B: it matches my *gestures to all of me*.
I found this handmade dress on Poshmark, and it fits me like it was tailored to do so. A truly unique piece in my rainbow section of my closet. Rainbow gummy bear necklace was a lucky thrifting get. I have lived a daily life of colour almost every day since I was a 16 year old kid as a florist - do I use that to my advantage..? Yes. Yes I do.

Hitting hard with the fruit theme because why not 🍌 🍉 🍎 🍊 🍋 🍋🟩 I’m a floral designer, and my flower studio is inside a local greenhouse, so I am fortunate to have some pretty maximalist places and spaces to blend in too! This is a 💯 second hand ootd! The sweater, dress, and felt jacket were all local thrifting finds, the adorable happy little purse and vintage hair barrette were poshmark scores, and the vintage Fluevog boots used to belong to the curator of the FindMyFluevogs insta page. The inside of my rainbow closet as requested. My husband gets four hangers in the corner 😂 Listen, it takes a lot of space to fit an entire rainbow into a 70’s build 4 level split closet…..;) Rainbow from left to right of the colours, a rainbow section, and LBD section in the corner. Shoe boxes up high store rarely used and heirloom pieces, and bags run the same colour gauntlet.
New here, but not new to maximalism:) I’ve been dopamine dressing on the daily for seven-ish years now. Nothing watered-down about my wardrobe.
