Maximalism in Japan
Some may call it maximalism I think itโs true self expression

Todayโs fit is ๐ฏ second hand finds! The cute โSandraโ Fluevogs I bought through marketplace, the green wicker bag was a poshmark get, the fab textured dress, necklaces and new-from-this-past-weekend cheeseburger earrings are all thrifting finds!
Do we like gold, silver accessories with or without belly piercing. Thanks
Yesterday I celebrated the 4th with loud colors to represent everything that makes us in the US
Anyone else happen to have a rainbow section in their closetโฆ?;) cute daisy bag was a thrifting find, dress and earrings were fast fashion, Barbie doll shoe bracelet is Sara Gallo jewlery, and the button necklace was made by me. Cute shoes are once again Fluevog, and are called Peacemaker, and are from a season about six years back.
Laying the adorable on a little thick with this โfit.
Hope y'all don't mind the dump of photos lol these were all from the last year + a bonus pic of me in middle school ๐ค
Can't decide which accessories set match best with this Black sared and overall how does it look on me for a nice party.
Set 1 accessories as in pic1 without piercing and in pic 3 with small piercing ring.
Set 2 accessories as in pic 2 including biggrr stud belly piercing.
Also does any other set like chunky ones match better.
Any suggestions. Thanks
Hey guys new here and some of my friends suggested I should post here to showcase these pieces that kind of go being within maximalism. Each piece is a garment I bought at either a thrift store antique store flea market or garage sale and altered it using vintage and modern patches I sourced from either Mexico or the U.S at those same thrifts garage sales or flea markets. Some patches are even handmade by some of my friends and family. For some it might be too much or too colorful but each one is a representation of how I see Mexico or how I feel being Mexican American.
I love the suit itโs heavily embroidered and it looks so pretty this is for haldi
Not reallyyy maximalist, but I figured I'd post my most recent fit. Sorry in advance that I didn't take a full body picture; I was having a bad day. I was debating posting this here haha
Anyhow, everythingggg I wore was pink (even my drink ๐ฅฐ) except my white sneakers haha Piggy came along to cheer me up like a good boy ๐
Oh and I got a haircut
Do i need chunky accessories
Hey everyone! Iโve been experimenting with creating bold, futuristic bag designs and wanted to share this look and hear your thoughts. The goal was to pair a loud metallic fabric with a fully decorated display window.
My families helped me lean into the true "more is more" aesthetic by completely loading it up with her enamel pin, sticker, and keychain collection. I love how chaotic and vibrant it looks when it catches the light.
I wonder how you guys feel about utilizing ita bags/pin displays to add texture and color to a maximalist outfit?
I make unique 1 one of 1 pieces out of garments I buy at garage sales flee markets thrift stores in the U.S and in Mexico and recently 2 weeks ago I was invited out to a fashion show in Aguascalientes Mexico to showcase 8 outfits I made within 2-3 weeks prior to the show. The majority of these pieces were vintage garments I took apart deconstructed and added either modern patches or vintage patches from the U.S and Mexico. Some of the patches were also handmade by either my family members and/or people that hand make patches in Mexico. These are some of my favorite pieces I have made to date.
All ice-dyed by hand by me ๐๐ชฉ๐๐
