Yesterday's dance look was based on ocean spirits.

The dress was Javad Zi (Australian designer who printed Watsons Bay coastline onto the dress) with ENME white jumpsuit underneath.

It's cute on It's own but I feel like it needs 4 more accessories to make it really pop. I'm terrible with layering and maximalist fashion but I love it so much!!

I feel like some metal belts would help?

Found this beaut at the local vintage shop. Hand made from I think the 70s? It’s way too big on me but I couldn’t pass it up. Open to suggestions on how else to style it!

Hi Social-lights!

I like organza. It gives me an ephemeral look. It helps calm obnoxious patterns (although I am a fan) and complicated construction. In this DA (daily arrangement) I wanted something to blend the past and the present. There is a lot going on in this outfit even though I settled on a two toned story.

Leather skirt? Thrifted, 1980s vintage

Leather biker jacket? BR

Leather belt? A prize from Converted Closet

Ostentatious tights? Torrid

Shoes? Via Spiga, vintage 2004 (fun Chicago trip)

Hat? Thrifted

Jabot? BR, in honor of Ruth Bader Ginsberg--the Notorious RBG

Brooch? Vintage coldwar, made in West Germany.

But that's enough about me.

Don't grow tired of doing good. Even if it seems like it's nothing. It is definitely something. I see you. Your community sees you. Quietly, your good encouraged someone to apply again, walk again, open the door again, write again, post again. 🐸❤️🌏

Hi Social-lights!

It was too cold to wear these pants on Wednesday in PDX. It was cold and rainy but I made this WFH daily arrangement work. There's a lot going on here and my comfort prevailed. I look disheveled and warm. It was a productive workday. I really love the kind of work that I do and I'm ready to share my skills at the next level.

The print is busy, and am wearing (imo) a lot of accessories. But does too much black make this less maximalist?

Am curious if folks have opinions on this outfit working, one way or another.
