I read worst dating stories ever in sg. There have been so many negative posts regarding dating in sg, so I wanted to share my story. I want to hear from others too. What are your most wholesome date stories in Singapore?
Here's mine:
I am just an ordinary sg guy, the girl I was very fond of was extremely smart, pretty, kind and independent. I knew she was the one for me right from our first date. We had talked for quite a bit over text, but due to busy schedules, first date was on hold for about a month. Our first date was brunch, we walked to the cafe, but went a little too far and had to u turn. Probably because we were too engrossed in our conversation. Nice and cozy cafe, when she ordered food that we can share on the first date, I was surprised. We were already sharing food on the same plate. I could find stars in her eyes listening and watching her talk about her interesting stories. This girl can yap in good ways it is rare. She is a good listener too! The cafe gave us a fortune cookie, she split it into half, taking one piece for herself and giving me the other. So cute! There was a 4D number prize that came out on the fortune cookie slip but I didn't bought. More so than that I felt I was the luckiest person just having meet her. I can see that she took a lot of effort to dress up nicely for our first date, I complimented her shyly but could have been more generous with it.
Second date, planned for dinner and activities. Sitting beside her admiring the golden hour. When the wind blew her hair, I complimented her side profile. I was 100% sincere, but looking back the delivery seems like an observation made very politely. Didn't know how to flirt. She laughed, and what followed was her smile that could melt even the toughest hearts. I was totally mesmerized in the moment and smitten. Went for desserts and I was quite shocked that we already reached the stage where we were sharing ice cream at this point. Conservative me, but I take it as a sign that she is very comfortable with me. We opened up a little more to and more vulnerable each other, talked about plans and outlook in life.
There were more future and exciting dates, but good things always come to an end. I am more than happy to pay for the dates, and she always made sure to treat me to the next meal or dessert. She orders her favourite mains, I order mine, and we share it together. I love getting her gifts based on what she mentioned and likes, and she is just as thoughtful in return.
