The first ever Flumenian flag was raised today in Lectville for the first time in its history! Because of this, September 4th will be declared as flag day in Flumenia. Also, Flumenia is now half a year old, so happy half birthday to us! The Azure Seal will now stand on my table for now, because I have no other place to really put it.

After all this long, the final of the MFF MicroCup was played today in Lectville against Cataractia (the red flag on the right with a hammer and sickle) the Micro Derby was won by us on pens (3-2 after 8-8 AET), and both teams showed lots of talent and skill. The golden glove was then handed to the Cataractian GK, who made a shocking 30+ saves the whole tournament. The host of the next tournament in October has not been chosen yet, but I will keep sharing more Flumenian football news!

The Republic of Flumenia has created an anti-war organization called the Commonwealth of Micronations (COM)
I have created it because there have been many useless "wars" in this subreddit that cause drama in the community.
Any micronation is allowed to join if they qualify for one category, which is if they aren't at war or planning one.
Each micronation in the commonwealth will have equal say. As of August 24, we have 9 members and 0 observers.

Recently, after making some larger territorial claims, some territories, like Lacdia and Nunoland, have been becoming too big. I already had to split Lacdia into Lacdia and Olympia, but I think I need to split them and Nunoland now. Anyways, I will also choose a name for the split territories written by a commenter. we have also given diplomatic land to Xotthon, Bellamy Village, Cataractia, Cyndaria, and Nordhaven. What do you guys think?

We have the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Judicial Branch, and the Legislative branch, open for the Founders' Party (leading party as of now), and Mart's Party. You are also allowed to create a party, which will be checked if it can be allowed in Flumenia.

We have adopted another variant of the Flumenian flag. The vertical flag of Flumenia is slightly modified from the real flag. The symbol is moved higher on the flag for better visibilty, and it has also been rotated to display it like the real flag. I have made this since many other nations use vertical banners.

Breaking News from Lectville, Tallacut!

Cataractia just beat Cyndaria-Brasil in the MFF MicroCup semi-finals on penalties! They will face host nations Flumenia in the finals, while Cyndaria-Brasil has taken 3rd place after beating Nordhaven 8-7! Flumenia are favorites to win the inaugural tournament, but their old rivals Cataractia will be a huge obstacle for them. The Finals will be broadcasted by FBC Sports, sponsors of the 2026 MicroCup!

In the opening match of the MicroCup in Flumenia, We steamrolled Norhaven in a 17-6 match! This was the first ever match in MFF (Micronational Football Federation) history, and we are now waiting to play the winner of Cataractia vs Cyndaria-Brasil. We have also announced a ranking system in the MFF using Elo, starting each member at 1000 to avoid negative scores.

Flumenia keeps up its unbeaten run after playing three matches against the Republic of Cyndaria! We had won two games, 5-3 and 2-0 against them, with the last one being the craziest. After losing 7-4 in the first half, we made a comeback late in the match, scoring the drawing goal in the 90+1st minute to secure our undefeated streak!

The Flumenian national football team has just played its first ever match against Cataractia, which ended in a 3-3 draw. It was played on neutral ground in the United States, and both sides have agreed to call this fixture the Micro Derby. We have also designed a geometric logo for the Flumenian national team and football association.

Flumenia has decided to annex its 3 surrounding micronations: Pineland, New Albania, and the Kaiserate, plus more land around it. We have decided to take Pineland and hand the rest to some micronations we have great relations with; Bellamy Village and Xotthon! The First image is before the annexation. I recently noticed Flumenia doesn't have a national emblem, so I decided to make one! The design features the name, Flumenia, in Kufic, a style of Arabic calligraphy originating in Iraq, used in early Qurans, inside of a wreath, symbolizing the nation's peace and prosperity.
