AI posters for charity or community events. Let's help find a solution.
I have seen quite a few come through this and other local subs.
It is - IMO and it seems like others' - off-putting and bad for the brand/event awareness. While it may be a budgetary or time issue for the OP, it shows a lack of care for artists and the world at large. AI generative "art" is stolen from human creation and adds fuel to the "build more data centers" fire that will burn us all to the desiccated ground if we let it.
That (semi-hyperbolically) said, I think some of these events seek to drive positive impact in their communities.
If these events are for legitimately positive causes with actual orgs (e.g. 501c3s with documented missions), maybe there are people who want to and can help.
In the light of helping well-meaning people, is there a good place for organizers to find folks who could help them in a reduced or limited budget? E.g. firms that could support non-profits with in-kind donations, graphic design students or retirees that are looking for value-driven work, etc.
How can we connect humans who want to help with other humans who want to do the same?
