For the last few days, all flights have had additional, random checks at the gate. I’ve noticed this is only for flights going to EWR and JFK. Anyone know why?

So we know they’re more or less non existent in the US. But when the website still says the property has one, and the property itself has signage to it, then they get pissy when you ask where it is, throwing up their hands and saying “we haven’t had that since Covid!”
Like people, you’ve had a minimum of 4-5 years to take it off the website/app and change the physical signage.
