Retaliation for FMLA protected intermittent absences

I’ve had an intermittent leave for a few years now for a medical condition, and have never had any issues. However my store recently has new leadership and a senior manager took me aside to talk about my attendance. I told them all the absences are approved by Sedgwick and they said that my impact to planned shifts % was too high regardless of the excused or unexcused. I looked at the People website and Sedgwick and believe this is a violation of policy, trying to discourage me from using my approved leave.
I’m waiting to see if this will negatively impact my upcoming yearly review under the Teamwork category, which I believe would be retaliation for using my protected leave.
Has anyone else experienced this?
What should I do?
