I’ve just watched S22E2, and after listening to the podcast of that episode I made a connection that I wonder if Alex made deliberately. The buggy, bounce and bean task reminded me of the farmers in Fantastic Mr Fox (Boggis, Bunce and Bean). Is it just me or did anyone else think of this on reflection?
I would love to see Mike go on a British TV show called Taskmaster. It’s a very funny show with lots of memorable moments, and I feel his humour and personality would fit really well. It’s worth a watch if you haven’t seen it. I understand his touring commitments may prevent him from doing a full series/season, but they do have an annual New Year's Treat episode which may be more plausible for his schedule. #GetMikePortnoyOnTaskmaster #WhenDreamAndTaskUnite
When a trains pulls into a station, the announcement goes “Now arriving at (station)”, I feel it should continue with “Platform on the left” or “Platform on the right” depending on the station. This would be beneficial to people not familiar with a particular station as well as people with sight loss knowing which side to get out on. The “Change here for (x connections)” can then follow. In addition for the metro tunnel stations, it could also include “At this station, all of the doors will open automatically”.
