We're still due back a few of the guys but I'm optimistic for this season. After losing Lucas, Rogers and Youri, I think we're going to suprise a lot of people.

What was your honest opinion about him last season?
I think he's a Villa fan? But he pops up every now and then on You Tube. I believe he's some sort of content writer that has been affiliated with Villa media in the past (or currently is?)
What's everyone's thoughts on him?
I watched him for around 10 secs and straight away have an opinion of him 😅

Weird 24 hours. Signing Manzambi to now Youri going.
I'll totally admit and not use any form of copium, I'm gutted, he was integral to how we play, rival fans (newcastle especially since they are sour grapes about manzambi) seem to think we are done for.
However, and this is my opinion, for all the many positives surrounding Youri, they are negatives, or in other words, things that go in our favour.
-He's nearly 30
-Injury record is creeping up on him
- He was free, we now have 35 million
There was a general consensus around that we have an ageing squad and we needed an injection of youth. Granted, we would rather it not be Youri but the ball is rolling and it starts with Manzambi.
According to Jordan Tanswell, we are targeting a new LB with a bigger profile than the aforementioned two, but one of them will be going.
I'd keep Maatsen, defensively suspect I know but nothing that can't be improved on and more important, younger. Much love to Digne however!
Amongst the players and of course Unai who have created these memories for us, I am so grateful and eternally thankful for our owners.
They came to us at a somewhat low point and through dedication, enthusiasm have helped transform us.
Owners come into clubs, sometimes it doesn't work out, they have ulterior motives or are not on the wavelength of the fans and club.
We struck gold with them both.

Caught a glimpse of the manager of the year nominations. Surprise, surprise no Emery. Fuck all budget, terrible start to season, 4th year in Europe, 2nd year in UCL and a potential trophy. Really hope Andrews or Iraola wins it, fuck Arteta and Pep.

I've had my moment of anger and now I feel defiant.
Yes, we're all pissed off but we use this on Thursday to roar the boys on. We went to their ground, with their atmosphere now it's their turn to feel our atmosphere.
They are gonna be nervous, a bit tired after playing tonight. I expect them to park the bus in Thursday. You think we have more to lose? They are fighting for their survival too. Pressure is in them. Remember that!
