Reminder - TONIGHT 8/19/26 be heard about FLOCK.

From Fae's write up (https://old.reddit.com/r/shelton/comments/1vnpmn1/a_call_to_action_shelton_city_council_to_renew/):

So what do we do?

This is a call to show up (...) Tuesday, August 18th, at 5pm, with signs and with the intent to protest prior to the council session. If you are comfortable, we will also sign up for comments and make it clear to the City Council that we do not want a renewal of Flock cameras in the City limits of Shelton. They will change their mind if enough people show up. See you there!

Go support Bobland! Update on Bob

Hey everyone! It's time to support Bob. He's putting up his personal collection of records for sale. While he is absolutely sure he is going to beat his cancer, he's hedging his bets a little, and is putting up his collection now... so his sister won't have to deal with it later (and, in his words, get ripped off).

Listen, Bob is a Shelton legacy. Even if you don't collect vinyl, stop by anyway for the vibe and talk with Bob. The whole place is a treasure trove of B sides and eclectic sounds. Plus, Bob is a hoot.

Support Bob now. And when he beats cancer, support him again so he can buy his albums back.

[Subreddit Announcement] Keep it polite. Voting time is coming. Disagree or downvote politely.

This is not up for debate. I am pretty cheesed off at even having to post this, but holy cowflop, some of you...

Comments to this post will be closed.

I have spent a long time thinking about this. This is not Facebook, this is not an echo chamber (except for the call to BE POLITE). I prefer to have educated, thoughtful discussions with people, and the "BUT THEY" argument holds no water. Live your beliefs. Go out and make things happen. Internet arguing is no way to win anything, much less allies and votes.

VOTE WHEN IT COUNTS. Here on reddit, downvotes work. In real life, the ballots work. So far.

I AM NOT SAYING BE NICE, I AM SAYING BE POLITE.
