My custom items were way underpriced

I sell custom printed stuff on Etsy. First few months I had everything at $10-12 to undercut other sellers. Cleared maybe $5 per order after fees. Barely worth the time.

Tried targeting local craft bars and speakeasies with custom metallic beer bottle openers at $15 and leather-wrapped flasks at $65. Volume dropped about 40%, but profit almost doubled because each sale actually means something now. Had a local pub order 8 custom bottle openers for their bartenders. Gave them a bulk discount at $100 total. Cost me $40 in materials.

I wasted months trying to be the cheapest option.

Do all UV printers need a syringe to prime the ink?

Still waiting for my xTool O1 to ship, but I saw in the product listing that it comes with a syringe. I'm not entirely sure what it's for. Is it something every UV printer needs, or just this model? I'm pretty new to this and just want to make sure I'm not missing a critical step before I start printing.
