Collection Tracking - best way to record card condition for an entire collection en masse?
So for years I have used tcgplayer's "collection tracker", no it's not an online storefront, it's meant for personal use. I'm in the process of getting that collection moved to an actual storefront or buy listing tool.
One of the limitations with the tcgplayer collection tracker is that there is no field to enter card condition. So all these years I've been adding to the digital collection, no card condition was recorded. This wasnt an issue for personal use, but obviously poses a huge problem for selling cards.
My first approach was to mark all cards from sets that are legal in premodern with MP condition. Some of these cards are LP, some are HP.
Then I created a "rating" for each individual set since then, so for example Mirrodin Beseiged was printed in 2011, those cards are likely MP. A set like Avatar was printed last year, those cards are likely LP or NM.
Has anyone found a good solution or approach to something like this? My collection is over 10K cards, so listing each card condition individually is not feasible.
After I get the collection imported to the storefront or buy listing tool, I would start with the most expensive cards first and go top down assigning condition.
TIA
I tried posting this in r/magictcg and it was removed due to using the words "buy" and "sell" ffs
