This is for my peri-menopausal ADHD/AuDHD women...

Has anyone else noticed the inability to do multiple things at once anymore? I figured I'd ask here, because I'm ready to see a doctor.

I've always been able to do & think about multiple things at once. I drive & daydream... (I couldn't help it.) And Multi-tasking was my specialty. But at this point if I can walk and chew gum at the same time - I'm doing something.

I can't even finish a sentence anymore. I was in the middle of telling my husband something last night - and it was just gone. I had ZERO idea what I was even talking about. And him prompting didn't help. I just burst into tears. (I was embarrassed, frustrated and scared. Like do I have early onset dementia?)

My run had grass in it, which my chickens have taken care of, lol. Right now they're on dirt (it's not muddy!) It's tarped, raked 2 times a week and drains well. My plan was to have moved them, but decided against it, (temporarily) until I get get their new coop up.

I live in NJ and was wondering what would be the best material to use? Sand, pine chips or pellets?

TIA

(I do have the Storey's guide to chicken keeping on the way!)

For the first time, my Vanillopé let me touch her (other then when she's asleep). She let me [gently] boop the poof, and I fell even more in love!
